Seller's Preference Program


We believe in listening to you, the real estate consumer. Our clients and customers believe in choice. Our innovative Seller's Preference Program is a result of our understanding today's homesellers' needs. No longer are sellers forced to take a "one size fits all" offering from our firm. MKB, REALTORS® has developed four distinct packages tailored to provide choice in services and pricing. From our Bronze package that empowers the seller to control most aspects of the home sale, to our Platinum package that offers our renowned "white gloved" full service.


Here are some of the features of each service level package:


    •    Platinum - Our renowned "white gloved" full service. The services offered under the Platinum package are our traditional offerings in which we handle the pricing advice, marketing, negotiating, assistance from contract to closing, and all other aspects of the home sale experience. The fee for this level of service is a percentage of the sales price and payable at settlement.


    •    Gold - At this level, the home seller receives the same “white gloved” full service with this unique exception - the home seller controls the marketing through the placement and payment of all advertising. Your experienced MKB Associate will advise you on quality advertisements and review for compliance with fair housing laws and other local rules and regulations. The fee for this package is expressed as a percentage of the sales price and is due at settlement.


    •    Silver- This service package offers tremendous flexibility for the home seller. It empowers you to have complete control over all aspects of marketing and selling your home. Your MKB Associate will assist you in arriving at a realistic market value using the latest in technology to provide a Comparative Market Analysis. This will assist you in properly pricing your home relative to current market conditions. We will also place a sign and lockbox on the property to make its showing more convenient to your schedule. The seller handles all aspects of the marketing and of the transaction. Under this package, the fee is due at the time of the listing.


    •    Bronze - This service package is our most basic offering. For a flat fee payable at the time of signing the listing agreement, we will provide a sign and review with you the steps you will take to show, receive offers, negotiate, and close your transaction. This package empowers you to have complete control over all aspects of marketing and selling your home. It is our most affordable solution.
