The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge represents individual artists and cultural organizations which work and operate in the Greater Roanoke Region. We serve these groups by acting as a unified voice promoting the value of arts/cultural activities to the vitality of the economic and educational health of the region, creating awareness for community engagement and advocating at the state and local levels for arts funding.

Since 1960, Downtown Roanoke Incorporated (DRI) has been hard at work helping the city continue to progress and grow as a thriving center for industry, education, arts and culture, and recreation. DRI is a private sector, not-for-profit downtown development organization dedicated to making the downtown area a unique and successful place to work, live, invest, and play.
The Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (RVCVB) is the region's official destination marketing organization. We work to provide information on accommodations, attractions, recreation, dining, and more in Virginia's Blue Ridge for convention, meeting, and leisure travelers.

The Shadowbox is a community microcinema dedicated to promoting local and regional filmmaking in the Roanoke Valley. We also pride ourselves in screening independent, foreign and just plain weird films that otherwise would never be shown in Roanoke. The Shadowbox runs a weekly Ted Talks video stream in their micro cinema.
Kirk Avenue Music Hall presents musical events in a relaxed, smoke-free setting with the focus on the stage. No frills. No TVs. No fusion menus.
